• Summer Knitting: Mittens

It's been hot here in Texas. Mid- to high-90's is the norm right now!

I had been working on the first of two sweaters for myself but with the heat I've switched to smaller projects. The past couple weeks I've been working on mittens for my grandbabies to have this winter.

Previously I've only made them baby mittens (without the thumbs), so it is exciting to be able to knit up Classic Mittens for them. I've finished a couple of pairs and have another on my needles. I'm using my 5" East Indian Walnut double pointed Clickin'Stix because these mittens are for smaller hands.

They are so cute, and I love every pair that I've finished so far! What are you knitting right now?
